3.1 Machine oil could bring out much heat which comes from bearings’ high speed running. It could spread high temperature in part to the whole machine body and improve heat spreading effect. Other manufacturers use grease lubrication in the lubrication structure of wire twisting machine. You need add grease into machine regularly and grease couldn’t flow out. It will cause high heat in part, affect bearing’s using life and affect machine’s using life.

3.2 Flowing machine oil could bring the abrasive of bearing, deposit it at the bottom of oil box and lengthen bearing’s using life. The machine oil should be changed once every year. However, if you use grease lubrication, the abrasive of bearing couldn’t get out, which could short bearing’s using life. What’s more important is that drag force from grease will add machine’s electricity consumption. It will add 0.5KWH electricity consumption compared to machine oil’s lubrication under same condition.

However, if you use grease lubrication in the wire twisting machine, main bearings block should be steel part because grease will corrupt casting part. The antiknock characteristic of casting part is better than that of steel part, which could low machine’s knocking drastically. The casting part’s heat spreading is very fast and using life is longer. Normal steel part could be used for 5 to 6 years and casting part could be used for 10-15 years.
